There are 12 runners for the 2024 TAB Touch – W.A. Champion Fillies Stakes. Nine runners had their last start in the Listed Burgess Queen Stakes over 1600m at Ascot on 5th November (won by London’s Image), while the other three came via different races. Three runners are maidens. Two runners are sired by Playing God. Trainers Daniel Morton, Neville Parnham, Simon A Miller and Grant & Alana Williams each have 2 runners.

The early favourite is Flower Of Gold who flew home for 3rd in the Burgess Queen Stakes after being blocked. Second favourite is Ron’s Finalflutter who ran home for 2nd in that race. Third favourite is Diamond Dancer who was forced wide in that race and ran 4th. Storyville was 8th in the Burgess Queen after being held up most of the straight while Divine Impact finished 5th. The other runners are currently $11 or longer.

She has the highest prizemoney of all the runners but is still a maiden. At her latest start she ran 7th in the Listed Burgess Queen Stakes over 1600m at Ascot on 5th November. Place chance.​

2. Ron’s Finalflutter (8)

Ran home for 2nd in the Burgess Queen and has a win an 3 places from 4 starts. Should be in the finish.

3. Divine Impact (7)

Finished 5th in the Burgess Queen after 2 wins in a row. Wouldn’t surprise to see her in the finish.

4. Flower Of Gold (5)

Flew home for 3rd in the Burgess Queen Stakes after being blocked. That was an eye-catching run and she looks the main hope.

5. Storyville (6)

Was 8th in the Burgess Queen after being held up most of the straight. Place chance.

6. Heavy Metal (10)

Still a maiden. This looks too tough.

7. Diamond Dancer (3)

Was forced wide in the Burgess Queen and ran 4th. Can get into the finish.

8. Nickelplay (4)

Came off a maiden win to finish 1.8 lengths 6th in the Burgess Queen. Could surprise.

9. Cashel Palace (2)

Last start winner to break her maiden at Ascot. Nicely drawn and a place chance.

10. Rosie Can Run (12)

Drawn the widest barrier. Finished 10th in the Burgess Queen. Unlikely.

11. Zouconi (11)

Won a Bunbury maiden last start. This is much harder.

12. Ginger And Tonic (1)

Perfectly drawn but her best performance from 5 starts was 3rd at Bunbury.
