Competitive field takes place. Hedged can resume a winner. Brings in some strong form to this field and maps for a good run in transit. Fleetwood will need luck from the wide draw but is going well this prep. Dragonstone maps for a lovely run in transit and should be hard to hold out against this lot. IownaMerc is likely to be well supported upon resumption and only needs even luck from the barrier to be going close.

Strong win last start and can go on with things here from the good draw.

2. Brudenell (3)

Didn’t come up last prep but would give this a shake on best form. Keep safe.

3. Hedged (5)

Deserving favourite who has trialled well and contested some very handy races. Should be going close in this field.

4. Frilled (6)

Can’t have.

5. Kote (1)

Prefer others.

6. Vainstream (2)

This looks too tough.

7. Iowna Merc (7)

Good set up for it here with decent tempo and trials have been good. Hard horse to catch but can win.

8. Quick Tempo (8)

Capable when on song and has a booming finish. Can go close.

9. Headwall (11)

Has the finale to win and drawn okay with its racing pattern. Commands respect.

10. Fleetwood (10)

Comes out of some strong form races and knows where the line is. Goes in the chances against these in what is a wide open field. Hard to beat.

11. South Of India (9)

Can’t have.
