Track: Good  Weather: Fine

Very tricky race to sort. Stefi Magnetica has a tough draw to deal with but should be around the mark and Gibbons rides. Tashi has good form for this race and looks well placed against this field. Ballroom Bella resumes off a let up and looks well placed against these. Grand Impact is yet to fire this prep but does ago in the mix while Semillion is due for another win but barrier 2 does suit.

2. Bacchanalia (19)

Resumes off a decent break. Very tough draw but does have a good record on this track and has won fresh.

3. Sinawann (8)

Sound effort in open company on the heavy behind Mazu. First look on the track but off that form goes in the mix. Doesn’t win out of turn with just the 3 career wins from 29 starts but this race is within reach.

4. Umgawa (18)

Can’t have.

5. Quick Tempo (14)

Capable of bobbing up at odds and enjoys a wet track. Tough draw but likeable claims in this.

6. Astero (1)

Prefer others.

7. Grand Impact (9)

Should enjoy the conditions but does need to lift after 2 average runs so far this prep without a stack of luck. Capable.

8. Fifteen Rounds (12)

Can’t have.

9. Diamond Diesel (7)

Solid effort last start taking out a BM72 in good fashion. Can handle the rise in grade and is building up a good record. Any rain is a plus.

10. Stefi Magnetica (13)

Finished off last prep just missing Tropical Squall which is nice form for this. Resumes from a break and if wound up and ready to go should give this a shake but the draw is tough.

11. Tashi (11)

Going along okay. Just a fair run last start finishing behind Ballroom Bella but that form is sound for this. The awkward draw does make things tough.

12. Ballroom Bella (6)

Solid run last start behind Wee Nessy. Sets up well from barrier 6 but is a query on soft ground which is the main knock.

13. Chrysaor (15)

Resumes from a break. Has won fresh and barrier 15 is okay with its running style. Can win.

14. Wategos (10)

Sound return run and suited up in trip. Can give this a shake.

15. Estadio Mestella (3)

Consistent last prep and should be getting every hope from barrier 3. Solid chance.

16. Semillion (2)

Doesn’t win out of turn but has been contesting some good races to date. Maps well but hard to trust.

17. Devil’s Throat (5)

Can’t have.

18. Powerful Peg (16)

This looks too tough.

19. Fox Fighter (4)

Can’t have.

20. Sir Ravanelli (17)

Leaning to others.
