The early favourite is the filly Super Smink who was 3rd in the Group 2 WA Guineas over 1600m  last start. Second favourite is Rusty Dreams who was runner-up in the Jungle Dawn. Third favourite is Yonga Lass who won over 1500m at Ascot on 2nd December. Amber Glide won 4 races in a row before 5th in the Jungle Dawn. All other runners are $27 or longer.

She was disappointing running 11th of 12 in the Listed Jungle Dawn Classic over 1400m at Ascot on 2nd December, but placed in her first 2 runs this preparation. Looking to others.

2. Rusty Dreams (6)

Ran on strongly for 0.2 length 2nd in the Jungle Dawn with the best closing splits. One of the main hopes.

3. Amber Glide (3)

One of 2 runners trained by Ross Price (the other is Fine Touch). She won 4 races in a row before 5th in the Jungle Dawn. Untried at 1600m but good enough to be in the finish.

4. Penny On The Queen (4)

She is one of 3 mares in the races sired by Universal Ruler (the others are Rusty Dreams and Yonga Lass). Faded in the straight to finish 8th in the Jungle Dawn. Unlikely.

5. Yonga Lass (1)

won over 1500m at Ascot on 2nd December.
