Track: Soft 6 Weather: Fine

Many hopes and a tricky race to sort. Island Dec is untapped and shooting for three straight. Hard to knock. Dominetta won well fresh. Maps poorly but this race is within reach. Wings Of Desire will need luck from its draw but is in the mix. Diddle Dumpling is drawn wide but commands respect with some luck in running.  Silver Wedding has Kah and good upside.

Tough draw to overcome but suited back in trip and still has good upside to take out a race of this depth.

2. Dominetta (9)

Impressive maiden win in good time and the form has been excellent out of the race. Clark sticks and this looks a good next step.

3. Good Sort (14)

Can’t have.

4. Island Dec (2)

Untapped and 2/2 to date. Maps for the right run in transit and strikes a suitable field to go on with things.

5. Aeliana (1)

Resumes from a break and warrants a market check with the pole position and J-Mac booked first up.

6. Titanium Miss (8)

Can’t have.

7. Another Prophet (15)

Prefer others.

8. Concordia Wind (12)

This looks too tough.

9. Diddle Dumpling (13)

Still a maiden but brings in some decent form. Drawn wide and tackles a stiff race here but wouldn’t totally shock.

10. Jellicious (4)

Brings in some very strong form, maps well and does look a major player in this despite being a maiden. Should be closer to favourite.

11. Motoscafo (5)

Can’t have.

12. Canara (7)

Prefer others.

13. Silver Wedding (6)

Showing enough talent to give this a shake and drawn ideally in barrier 6. Hard to beat.

14. Doralee (3)

Can’t have.

15. Flying Embers (10)

Prefer others.
