Track: Good 4 Weather: Showers

Some of the top shelf sprinters in Australia meet. Giga Kick was just fair when resuming off a lengthy break but will be strips fitter and has class on its side. Think About It was excellent fresh last time out and is good enough to be winning this. Mazu will want the rain to arrive while Bella Nipotina is running in The Everest and this looks the perfect lead up race for her.

1. Giga Kick (5)

One of the best sprinters in Australia when on song. Just fair when resuming but that was off a lengthy break. Drawn well and has class on its side.

2. Think About It (8)

Not going as well as it was 24 months ago but Think About It did find some form last prep and resumed with a strong second when first up last time. Should give this a shake.

3. Mazu (3)

Doesn’t win out of turn but chances are enhanced with any rain about. Should get a nice run in transit from barrier 3 and is good enough to be winning this.

4. Coal Crusher (1)

Can’t have.

5. Airman (4)

Prefer others.

6. Bandi’s Boy (7)

This looks too tough.

7. Bella Nipotina (6)

She maps well in this small field and impossible to deny her chances off a career of consistency and most recently going so close in some top tier sprinting races. She can settle on or off the speed and goes on top in what is a suitable field.

8. Chain Of Lightning (2)

Can’t have.
