Track: Good 4 Weather: Showers

All eyes on PrideOfJenni as she resumes off the back of an outstanding prep. She is one of the better Mare’s in Australian racing and should do her usual tactics of trying to run them into the ground. Very hard to go past. Mr Brightside won the Memsie Stakes last year and is all class. 5/5 over this track and trip and commands serious respect. Antino should be around the mark and has improved out of sight over time. 1. Mr Brightside (4)

Maps for the run of the race and should give this race a shake from barrier 4. He is all class and is 5/5 over this track and trip. Looks well placed against this field.

2. Aegon (1)

Will need luck from barrier 1 but comes into this with strong claims. His best is good enough and has a strong record over this trip.

3. Gentleman Roy (8)

Going super this prep. Can land up on the speed and give a bold sight. Harder here and may find these too slick but is hard to knock.

4. Bandersnatch (2)

Can’t have.

5. Pinstriped (3)

Capable of a booming finish. Should be suited by a hot tempo but would have to find a few lengths on recent efforts. Maps for a tidy run and goes in the mix.

6. Antino (6)

Classy runner who has continued to improve. Should get a good run behind the speed and capable of a strong finish.

7. Pride Of Jenni (7)

Have her firmly on top. Stamped herself as one of the best in the country last prep and she can resume with a win here. Expect her usual catch me if you can tactics and this race is very suitable.

8. Vagrant (5)

Can’t have.
