Track: Good 4 Weather: Fine

Tough race with most of these mixing form. Raf Attack is current favourite and racing well enough to be given thought. Bandersnatch maps well from the draw and is ready to win. Robusto can be hard to catch but has a booming finish and is up to these. Franz Josef will be strips fitter second up and can bounce back.

1. Rustic Steel (7)

Form has tapered off but that has been in some hot races. Drops in grade and is worth thought in this.

2. Bandersnatch (4)

Doesn’t win out of turn these days but form is consistent enough and maps well from the draw. Can win.

3. Berkshire Shadow (1)

Capable runner but barrier 1 does make things tricky. Will need some luck from there but is good enough for this field.

4. Goldman (8)

Resumes from a break and has raced well fresh in the past. Has class when on song. Keep an eye on the market.

5. Robusto (10)

Has a booming finish and drawn well wide. Can win.

6. Felix Majestic (2)

Good placing last start and sets up well from the draw. Doesn’t win out of turn but go well in this.

7. Baby Rider (11)

Can’t have.

8. Tazaral (5)

Prefer others.

9. City Of Lights (6)

Has had good market support and been racing well this prep. Worth thought from the ideal draw.

10. Raf Attack (3)

Maps a treat from barrier 3 and should be hard to hold out with consistent efforts to his name. Goes close.

11. Franz Josef (9)

Carved up fresh but easier race here and has plenty of scope and upside. Must be respected in this.
