Track: Good 4 Weather: Cloudy

Open field takes place. Kingswood won well last start and looks suited against these. Berkely Square comes out of a race and won in style against a few of these. That includes Star Vega who was narrowly defeated by the former and holds strong claims. Touristic was just fair last start but was excellent the run prior while Independent Road doesn’t win out of turn but does find a winnable race.

1. Berkeley Square (9)

Big win last start and can make it a hat tricky. Drawn wide and weighted just fairly however didn’t get all the favours last run and commands respect in this form.

2. Smokin’ Romans (2)

Knocked up last start but is better than that and maps kindly. Goes in the mix and will get every hope from there.

3. Mankayan (5)

Strips fitter for the first up run. Quality runner on its day and good enough to give this field a shake.

4. Touristic (7)

Didn’t do much last run but was half a length off Eliyass the run prior and that is strong form for this.

5. Too Close The Sun (1)

Can’t have.

6. Mystery Island (4)

Prefer others.

7. Independent Road (3)

Doesn’t win out of turn but reasonable last run behind the top pick and should be ready to peak third up.

8. Kingswood (6)

Brings in the different form line and was a strong winner last start behind a handy field. Looks well placed in this.

9. Star Vega (8)

Just missed Berkeley Square last run and that is good form for this. Drawn wide so will need some luck but going well enough to command big respect.
