Kallos comes up favourite. Meets a modest field here and can take this out. Oscar’s Fortune put in a poor one last start but must be considered off very consistent form prior. Recommendation maps for a good run from the barrier and will be hard to hold out. Spacewalk will need clean air or to land up on speed to be a chance but must be given thought in this field. Garza Blanca resumes from a break and best is good enough.

Deserving favourite who has been consistent this prep and is ready to win from the good draw. Should take beating and well suited over this track and trip.

2. Oscar’s Fortune (2)

Poor run last start but prior form was ultra consistent. Loves this trip with 4 wins from 4 goes and sets up well from the draw to lead or stalk the speed.

3. Recommendation (4)

Flies with Shinn aboard and brings the class factor into this race. Best efforts are certainly good enough for this and should be on speed and hard to beat.

4. Spacewalk (8)

Went close in this race last year and does have the talent but is a hard horse to catch. Tends to do plenty wrong sometimes but can win.

5. Acromantula (1)

Looks harder than last start. Prefer others.

6. Katsu (6)

Can’t have.

7. Way To The Stars (11)

Racing in good fashion and has been tested in some handy races this prep. Can win.

8. Garza Blanca (3)

Good enough when on song but tricky horse to catch. Keep safe.

9. Deepour (9)

Can’t have.

10. Philosopher (7)

Prefer others.

11. Frilled (10)

Suited over this trip and is well over the odds.
