Wide open affair. A lot to like about the return run of IownaMerc. No harder here and expecting it to win. Semillion can land on speed and find the placings. The danger to the top pick is QuickTempo who is capable of racing on or off the speed and can take this out. DashingLegend needs to find form but is good enough and the same can be said about Insurrection.

Races well on this track and can improve off an average return run. Loses Lloyd which isn’t ideal. Place chance.

2. Joyful Fortune (2)

Good enough to win but does return off a long break. Keep an eye on the market.

3. Lekvarte (17)

Classy runner who will be flying home late. Has the finale to win this.

4. Bacchanalia (18)

Can’t have.

5. Eagle Nest (4)

Getting hard to catch but maps well and should be there in the finish. Just testing the patience on punters is the knock.

6. Felix Majestic (1)

Prefer others.

7. With Your Blessing (13)

Racing in good fashion and will enjoy dropping in trip. Will require luck and a tow into the race at the right time but can win.

8. Kote (12)

Can’t have.

9. Mogo Magic (15)

Racing well and looks suited here off the back of a solid third when resuming. Winner who knows where TheVine is and is good enough to take this out.

10. Mnementh (11)

Can’t have.

11. Semillion (10)

Going well this prep and lead them up with a convincing win last start. Harder here and leaning to others at better prices.

12. Quick Tempo (14)

Excellent run last start hitting the line with Iowna Merc. Leaning to that runner but certainly has appeal at the odds and don’t mind it when ridden on speed.

13. Dashing Legend (7)

Can’t have.

14. Xtravagant Star (16)

This looks too tough.

Prefer others.

16. Iowna Merc (9)

Copped a poor ride last start when heavily backed. Should be ridden with more intent this time around and finds the right race.

17. Fox Fighter (5)

Not even a Bradbury moment could get this winning right now.
