Track: Soft 6 Weather: Fine

Alegron comes up favourite in a wide open field. Goes in the mix from the good draw. Stockman will appreciate any rain and best efforts would go close in this.  Trust In You brings in some different form to most of these and should give this a shake. Waltham didn’t have much luck last run and commands thought in this. Wyclif can run a big race on his day and Etna Rosso is flying this prep but the draw is a concern.

1. Military Mission (4)

Capable if left alone up front and can run them into the ground. Won’t know the track pattern at this stage but holds big claims.

2. Alegron (3)

Mixing form of late but back in the right race. Maps well, can stay all day and best efforts would take this out.

3. Athabascan (2)

Needs to lift on form but finds a decent drop in grade. Goes in the mix.

4. Stockman (6)

Wants the rain and may just get it. Keep safe if it comes.

5. Trust In You (9)

Formlines are good for this when chasing the likes of Land Legend and Zardozi. Big hope.

6. Etna Rosso (1)

Having a great prep but barrier 1 is a concern. Can win but will need to get off the rail at the right time.

7. Wyclif (5)

Capable on his day so keep an eye on the market.

8. Waltham (7)

No luck last run and Shinn does the steering. Can win if it finds a back to follow at the right time.

9. Steel Blaze (8)

Can’t have.
