Track: Good 4 Weather: Showers

Stacked field. Unusual Legacy was expected to win last start. Had its chance but is having a good prep. Berkshire Breeze hit the line hard last start and does look well placed in this field. Zardozi needs to lift on current form but has class on her side. Land Legend is a winner on this track and should be set to peak third up. Future History has been racing well and maps for a lovely run while Etna Rosso showed off a good turn of foot in a weaker race to win last time out.

Should give a good sight and kick up on speed. Will need early luck from the barrier is the concern.

Building up this prep and does have the quality to take this out. Will need some luck from the draw.

Prefer others.

6. Cleveland (18)

Can’t have.

7. Athabascan (8)

Should be an improver and only needs even luck and a tow into the race to give a good sight in this field.

8. Trust In You (13)

Can’t have.

9. El Bodegon (16)

Prefer others.

10. Zardozi (9)

She has been a little disappointing this prep. Out to a suitable trip and her best is certainly good enough. Keep safe.

11. Future History (3)

Solid prep so far and maps for a good run. Should give a good sight from the kind draw.

12. Star Of India (6)

Scratched.

13. Etna Rosso (12)

Won the Newcastle Cup and is on a reasonably quick back up. Much harder here but did show a good turn of foot there.

14. Land Legend (6)

Capable when on song and should be set to peak third up. This race is within reach and the draw helps.

15. First Light (2)

Big win last start. Harder here but has returned to form and goes in the mix from the lovely draw.

16. Manzoice (15)

Can’t have.

17. Berkshire Breeze (14)

Good effort last start when forced to make up too much ground. Racing well and strikes a suitable opportunity here with even luck from the wide draw. Goes on top.

18. Wyclif (19)

Can’t have.

19. Immediacy (20)

Prefer others.

20. Strathtay (10)

This looks too tough.

21. Unusual Legacy (4)

Was keen on it last weekend and had every chance. Should be cherry ripe for this assignment and drawn well. Hard to beat.
