Grafton races are held at Grafton Racecourse which is much better known as the Clarence River Jockey Club. The NSW Country club holds around 25 meetings a year that are mostly split between the weekends and during the weekdays.

Grafton attracts trainers from the north and the south for their race meetings, especially their two-day cup carnival held annually in July.

Grafton races don’t have any Group 1 events but they host their annual Grafton Cup meeting in July every year.

If you are travelling from outside the area by train, Grafton Train station is the closest train station to the race club and from there you will have to travel via bus, taxi, or Uber to the club. There is plenty of off-street parking if driving in.
