Angelic Miss | (Belmont Race 4 No. 3)

This looks like a nice setup for the daughter of Savabeel as she looks to return a winner here at Belmont. Last preparation she won the Jungle Mist and Jungle Dawn Classic before bowing out in less than impressive fashion in the Starstruck Classic. Her trials have been good on soft ground that looked soft and she travelled well through it with her latest a close up second to Beads, who has since won. She has drawn nicely, she has class and by Savabeel, I am going to assume she can handle the soft-heavy surface.

Current Price: $3.50

Next Best

Via Monte | (Belmont Race 3 No.2)

This looks like a nice race for the son of Street Boss following two placings to start the preparation. He was soundly beaten first-up when running a 1.5 length third before narrowly going down to Warm N Fuzzy last start. The form from that race hasn’t been too bad with several runners running well the next start. I am expecting them to head forward and try to slot in the first four and he has previously run well in the wet, so I am not expecting that to be an issue.

Current Price: $5.00

Best Lay

Itsarayday | (Belmont Race 7 No.2)

This bloke is coming off a run where he finished a distant tenth due to being lame. Providing he is back to 100%, he has drawn the widest barrier whilst carrying 59kg. Happy to risk him at the price.
