This four-year-old Snitzel mare has five wins and seven places from 18 starts. She resumed from an 18 week spell for 4 lengths 6th in the Group 3 Northwood Plume Stakes over 1200m Caulfield on 10 October, then got there in the last two strides for a 0.2 length win in the Listed MSS Security Sprint over 1200m at Flemington on 3 November. She is a quality mare and should win.

This Exceed And Excel gelding trained by Les Kelly has six wins and 14 places from 26 starts, and goes well at this track. At the end of last campaign he finished 1 length, 0.2 length 3rd over 1200m at Doomben on a heavy track on 25 July, then resumed after 17 weeks for a length 2nd over 1200m at Gold Coast on 21 November. He goes well at this track and this distance and looks a solid each-way bet.

This All Too Hard gelding trained by David Vandyke is the early favourite in this 3YO Handicap over 1400m. He took over at the 100m and won by 1.3 lengths over 1200m at Ipswich on 2 October, then he drew away over the final stages to win by a length over 1200m at Ipswich on 25 November. With three wins from five starts he clearly has ability but has yet to win at metropolitan level and this race has several good three-year-olds.
