2024 The Four Pillars Details

Race 5 at Rosehill Racecourse on Saturday 2nd November 2024.

The The Four Pillars is a Feature (not a Group race) race held at Rosehill over 1500 metres. Expensive Midway for horses aged Three-Years-Old and older and is strictly for Country trainers only. The total prize money this year is $500,000.

Track: Good 4 Weather: Showers

$7.00 the field and plenty of hopes. Alabama State has been consistent all prep and looks suitably placed against these. Harlow Mist is on the next line of betting and put in a solid effort when resuming. Artful Persuasion is looking for a hat trick and is drawn to effect. Extreme Freedom maps okay and brings in some form that is worth thought. Rolling Magic is looking for four in a row after making it a hat trick in weaker races than this.

Brings in some decent form but drawn barrier 16 which will make it tough. The jockey/trainer combination are solid.

2/2 with Hutchings aboard but the map looks tough from out there. Can win with the right steer.

Looking for four in a row and brings in winning form. Can take this out but drawn the absolute car park.

Can’t have.

6. Patrika Mist (17)

Prefer others.

7. Khumbila (14)

This looks too tough.

8. Life Coach (6)

Can’t have.

9. Piraeus (9)

Class of the race who is proven around a solid level. Should get an okay run in transit and has the talent to be taking this out.

10. This Is The Moment (2)

Can’t have.

11. Danish Prince (19)

Prefer others.

12. Tympanist (4)

Likely to be scratched.

13. Fugitiva (8)

Maps well and has Gibbons aboard. Ticks a few boxes at odds.

14. Artful Persuasion (3)

Looking for a hat trick and maps to advantage. Brings in good claims for the strong stable.

15. Extreme Freedom (10)

Capable of taking this out after being around the mark the past few starts. This race suits and appeals at double figures.

16. Alabama State (22)

Best horse in the race and most in form but the draw makes things tough. Can win with the right ride.

Prefer others.

Drawn the car park but is racing super and has the talent to beat these. Keep safe.

Can’t have.

Can run well fresh and has the turn of foot to win.

Can’t have.

24. Titanium Miss (21)

Form is great for this race but drawn extremely wide and will need luck in running. Drops out of open company behind a smart runner. The barrier is the concern.
