Think ‘N’ Fly has been honest lately and is well drawn while Strathtay is on the up and loves racing here. Looks one of the main chances.

Sound resuming and should be strips fitter. Maps for a good run, leading jockey booked and expect the rise in trip to suit off this imports overseas form. Well placed in this.

2. Sir Lucan (7)

Lands on the speed and has the right running pattern to give this a shake. Maps to head to the front and well placed to give this a shake.

3. Tapildoodledo (8)

Can’t have.

4. Redstone Well (3)

Stayer who will appreciate this depth of race. Weighted well and maps for a lovely run. Should suit jumping up in trip and has good claims in this field.

5. Canberra Legend (6)

Stayer who has been frustrating to catch. Best efforts would roll these but has been mixing its form throughout its Australian career. Hard to trust but hard to knock.

6. Strathtay (2)

Quality stayer building a fine record. Can race on and off the speed and will appreciate dropping weight for this. Can win again and does appeal in this kind of field where most have reached their peak.

7. Raging Bull (5)

Stays all day and not hopeless at odds. Watch for it late.

8. Think ‘N’ Fly (1)

Has been racing consistently lately and maps for a good time of it from barrier 1. Hard to catch from a winning perspective but has the quality to go close.
