Iknowastar has a strong on pace running style that will make it prove hard to beat in this. Wategos didn’t have much luck last start when needing more room at a crucial point. Cottee is racing around the mark this prep and looks suited in this field. Charterhouse will be running on and gets the services of Gibbons.

Needs to improve off last run and gets the right draw to do so.

Solid run behind a smart one in Freedom Rally. Brings in some strong NSW form and looks suited to this field.

Can’t have.

4. Charterhouse (3)

Will be hitting the line hard, gets an ideal draw and Gibbons riding. Hard to beat.

5. Iknowastar (11)

Likeable on pace running style and can lead these up and prove hard to catch. Shouldn’t be a lot between it and its main danger Wategos.

6. Wategos (1)

Didn’t get room at a vital time last start. Will need luck again from barrier 1 but racing in good fashion and going very well this prep. Hard to beat.

7. Maracana (14)

Has the class to give this a shake and enjoys racing this trip. Solid hope.

8. Jetty (9)

Can’t have.

9. Wapiti (2)

Prefer others.

10. Eaglemont (7)

This looks too tough.

11. Danish Fortune (13)

Can’t have.

12. Cocobrew Express (12)

Prefer others.

13. Mississippi Prince (6)

Prefer in something easier.

14. Cottee (8)

Has been around the mark this prep and should get a good tow into it from barrier 8. 2/2 over this track and trip, therefore makes good appeal in this field.
